How To Let More of Your Inner Brilliance Shine Through

Welcome to this week’s message for living your best life.
In this message, you’ll learn about living from your wise, always count-on-able, peaceful inner being. This is so important because when we know who we truly are and live from that higher perspective, we can consistently show up as the best, calmest and wisest versions of ourselves. When we step into who we truly are, we have a deep sense of peace and higher knowing, regardless of current conditions, or other people’s behaviors and opinions. We can shine our lights as brightly as we want. We feel free and steady and secure.
As we slow down and grow still, we can hear the calm, mighty wisdom of our higher inner voice. Then, we can know what truly matters, and we also know how we really want to invest our valuable time and energy. If we don’t give ourselves space for quiet contemplation, and peaceful moments of no-thinking, we can get lost in the swell of other people’s opinions and disempowering self-talk.
Rushing and overthinking creates uncertainty and feelings of overwhelm, because when we do this, we are disconnecting ourselves from the eternal fuel source of love and higher knowing.
If we disconnect from our Higher Wisdom, we are like rudderless ships wandering in a sea of noise. And so naturally we will feel lost, or overwhelmed, and may even forget that we can rise above the “busyness” at any time and claim our peace and claim our wisdom. We can step into it in any moment, and with practice, it becomes effortless to do so.
To have peace-of-mind, and a calm and centered life, we need to claim ownership of our time and understand that our connection to the highest aspects of ourselves is our greatest priority. This connection is far more important than what we check off a list, or pack into a calendar because no amount of action can take the place of who you are being. That is why overdoing feels so hard, because it is. It’s not your true source of power.
Happiness, prosperity, wisdom and inner peace all stem from who you are routinely being.
Your connection to the higher aspects of yourself is your greatest ally and support system. That connection is your count-on-able source of higher understanding and love. When we are Self-aware and then led by the awesome, higher wisdom within us, we can shine our lights as brightly as we want, and do so with feelings of peace and certainty that transcend confidence. Some call these higher aspects the soul, higher self or divine inner being. The name you use is up to you, but the Mighty You, The Awesome True You is who you truly are.
The antidote for feeling rushed, worried, overwhelmed or disconnected is slowing down and giving yourself space for connecting with the calm and ease that’s already within you. But to have access to that, we have to tune into it and allow ourselves to receive it. That is truly our “work”.
We all have routines and daily practices. whether we are present to them or not. And we also know if our daily habits are serving us by how we habitually feel about ourselves, our lives and those around us. For example, when we can feel calm, peaceful, steady, enthusiastic, prosperous, confident or happy, as examples, and we can feel good, regardless of current conditions, then our daily routines are not only helping us, they are very powerful. On the other hand, if we feel disempowered, easily triggered, frustrated, angry, rushed etc. then our daily habits aren’t helping us be the best versions of ourselves or live our most fulfilling lives.
So, how do you begin creating a deeper connection with the higher aspects of yourself?
>> Start by making the powerful decision to feel and hear the loving support and presence of your higher guidance throughout the day. This may seem simple, but this decision is so important. It opens a door to a more beautiful way to live.
>> Once you make that powerful choice, feel yourself being loved, supported and divinely guided because you are! Having the intention to receive this love and support, is what opens up your ability to be more present to it.
So, how do you tell the difference between higher guidance and unhealthy ego or wounded child guidance?
Higher guidance will always feel loving and nurturing. It may occur as simple or profound. You may feel a sense of higher knowing, without know how you know. It may feel like certainty for you. You may wonder; wow, where did that come from? You might think it sounds like your own voice, or wonder if you are making it up. This is completely normal in the beginning, especially if you consider yourself to be analytical.
But as you practice connecting to the higher aspects of your Self each day, you’ll start to feel the difference between what is received or “comes in” … and what you might be tempted to go get, because you want it now. Higher guidance comes when we ask, and then step aside to let it come.
Higher guidance is never critical, judgmental or rushed. Your higher, wiser guidance will never make you or others wrong. It will not tell you what to do but will feel like a gentle arm around your shoulders giving you loving, sage advice and a higher vantage point. It will feel light.
As you nurture your decision to consciously connect with the Higher Aspects of your Self as you start your day, end your day, and as you move from moment-to-moment — you will be able to better distinguish the higher, wiser aspects of yourself versus what’s coming from the wounded self or what I like to call Mini-Me! We all can experience both. A powerful question to ask oneself is; who am I putting in the driver’s seat of my life? The answer to this question really matters. It determines the quality of your life. A beautiful life means walking in the beauty of who you truly are.

>> Then, give yourself space to connect and make your daily choices from a calm, soul-nurturing space.
